Ingredients

2 Serving Size

• Goya Bitter Melon
(1 medium)

• Turmeric
(30 g or 2 Tbsp)

Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
(45 g or 3 Tbsp)

• Sugar
(200 g or 1 cup)

Salt

Shirataki Rice

Step-by-Step

Put a large pot of water over high. When the water starts boiling add a pinch of Salt.

Cut the Goya Bitter Melon into think slices.

Put the Sugar together with 1 cup of Water in a skillet frying pan with. When it starts boiling, add Goya Bitter Melon slices.
Cook until the slices turn translucent.

Put Tofu, 2 Tbsp of Extra-Vergin Olive Oil and Turmeric together in a blender. Blend until obtaining a smooth purée. Taste and adjust with Salt.

Shirataki Noodles Preparation: Drain in a large sieve and wash under cold fresh running water Shirataki Noodles for about 2-3 minutes. Rinse them and boil them in a large pot with salted water for about 2 minutes.

Use a slotted spoon to move Shirataki Rice and put in the skillet frying pan together with 1 Tbsp of Extra-Virgin Olive Oil. Stir-fry and toss for about 3 minutes.

Add the Turmeric Tofu Purée in the pan and mix with couple of Goya Bitter Melon caramelized slices.

Serve at once using ladle. Serve in a caramelized sugar surface with Goya Bitter Melon caramelized slices.
