Ingredients

2 Serving Size

Japanese Water Pear
  (1 medium)

Blue Cheese
(125 g or 1 cup)

Almond Milk
(30 ml or 2 Tbsp)

Dry Soy Beans
(20 g or 3 Tbsp)

Brown Sugar
(200 g or 1 cup)

Salt

Shirataki Noodles
(2 packages)

 

Step-by-Step

Put a large pot of water over high. When the water starts boiling add a pinch of Salt.

Previously – cut the Japanese Water Pear in very thin slices (0.5 cm or 0.20 ( 1/4 ) inch )
– in a pan, put 1 cup of Sugar and 1 cup of Water and wait until boiling
– immerge the Japanese Water Pear slices in the pan and let them cook for about 1 minute until they look translucent
– lay the Japanese Water Pear slices on a baking sheet and let them dry

Heat the Blue Cheese in a skillet frying pan with Almond Milk until melted. 

Turn off the heat.

Shirataki Noodles Preparation: Drain in a large sieve and wash under cold fresh running water Shirataki Noodles for about 2-3 minutes. Rinse them and boil them in a large pot with salted water for about 2 minutes.

Use tongs to move Shirataki Noodles and put in the skillet frying pan together with the sauce. Stir-fry and toss for about 3 minutes. Add the Japanese Water Pear caramelized slices.

Serve at once using tongs. Serve in a caramelized sugar vase previously prepared with Japanese Water Pear caramelized slices and Dry Soy Beans.
